Train from Interlaken west to Interlaken Ost then a connecting train to Chur. Boarded the Glacier Express from Chur to reach Zermatt. Zermatt Old Village walk. Train from Zermatt to Interlaken West
Day 4 - 08 April 2014
Train from Interlaken to Lucern. Mount Rigi ferry from the quay outside Lucern station to reach Vitznau. Funicular to Mount Rigi . Mount Rigi visit . Return by funicular to Arth Goldau . Train to Lucerne transport museum.
Return bus to Lucern city. Lucern city self-walking tour. Return train from Lucern to Interlaken
Day 1 : 05 April 2014
Flight from Bangalore to Zurich via Doha . Train to Interlaken West - Check in into CITY CHALET cottage in Interlaken West.
Day 3 : 07 April 2014
Train from Interlaken to reach Bern station. Onward train to Zurich. A bus from outside Zurich station to reach Zurich Zoo. Zoo visit. Return bus to return to Zurich station. Train to Winterthur to reach Schloss Laufen, another train to Schaffhausen- Rhine falls visit-Back to Schaffhausen- Train to Basel. Basel city tour. Train to Interlaken.
Day 6 : 10 April 2014
A Train from Interlaken to reach Bern -Change of train to Friburg further to Bulle and finally the Broc Fabrique train to reach the Caillers Chocolate factory - Chocolate factory visit and purchase ; Train to reach Gruyeres (Cheese Factory) - Cheese factory visit and Gruyeres castle visit Finally train to reach Montreux Chillon castle . Return via Vevey - Lausanne train route to Interlaken
Day 5 - 09 April 2014
A bus from Interlaken west to Wilderswil - A train via Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg, Another train to reach Eiger - Monch and finally Jungfraujoch - Jungfrau visit. ; On return we took the Wengen-Murren -Gimmelwald -Lauterbrunnen route, walked around the villages and took a bus back to reach Interlaken
Day 8 : 12 April 2014
We hopped on to a train from Interlaken to reach Geneva. We toured the city, visited the United Nations building and got to the Morges town by train for the Tulip festival - Return via Lausanne to Interlaken by train.
Day 7 : 11 April 2014
A train from Interlaken to reach Bern City - Bern city sight-seeing ; Train to reach Beatenberg - visit to Beatus caves - return to Interlaken by bus.
Day 9 : 13 April 2014
We took a train from Interlaken west to Interlaken Ost and boarded the Brienz river Cruise just outside the train station. We visited the Geissbach Falls by taking a funicular at a ferry stop half way through. We then continued by ferry to reach the Brienz ferry stop. We took a bus from there to the Ballenberg Museum; Visited the Museum and returned via bus to Interlaken
Day 10 : 14th April 2014
We boarded a train to reach Bern from Interlaken and exchanged trains to reach Zurich airport - We took the return flight to Bangalore via Doha.
